This beautifully restored 1920s museum-deaccessioned dress has been reimagined into a breathtaking new gown through meticulous craftsmanship. Hand-sewn to honor the traditions of Haute Couture, it features an original rose-embroidered bodice, elegantly framed by silk and Irish dotted tulle overlays. Freshwater pearls embellish the neckline, while crystal-beaded tulle adorns the hemline and large romantic bows, cascade from the shoulders to the layered drop waist below. The skirt is made up of silk tulle and chiffon and is gathered at the hips, staying true to the classic 1920s bridal silhouette. Complementing the fabrics and construction of this gown is a med-weight, sand-washed silk charmeuse base and a matching slip fully lined. The ensemble includes a cherished Juliet cap veil, crafted from the matching delicate tulle and lined with a satin rose trim that mirrors the bodice accents. A stunning pearlesque circlet graces the cap’s edge, and a pair of matching detachable brooches adorn the skirt’s side panels. This cathedral-length veil exudes ethereal beauty, making this one-of-a-kind couture bridal set a masterpiece of elegance and heritage. Gown Sizing: Vintage gowns tend to run small, but at Little Rose Bridal we can tailor them to fit today's modern bride! Most gowns can be altered up to four sizes, or we can fully reconstruct the gown for a complete transformation.
Bodice Closure Options: Because our vintage gowns are carefully restored by immersion cleaning, this requires the removal of original buttons to prevent metal oxidation on the fabric, giving brides the opportunity to customize their back closure. If the original buttons can be saved, we’ll restore them. Otherwise, choose from silk bridal buttons, freshwater pearl buttons, crystal buttons, embroidered buttons, a mesh zipper, or a corset insert to finish off your unique dream wedding gown.
