This 1992 Renaissance inspired wedding gown is crafted from lustrous silk Mikado, fully lined, and features a built-in petticoat for structure and volume. The bodice showcases a subtle sweetheart, under a square overlay, framed with delicate corded trim. Parallel to the front-laced stomacher runs exquisite soutache braid, accented by three lovely silk ribbon bows. The fitted waist and tailored, tapered sleeve cuffs are finished with matching corded trim, for that classic princess look. The modified A-line skirt boasts box-pleating that gathers at the back beneath a dramatic soutache-braided bow, then cascades into a graceful, trailing train. The drop V bodice back is finished with more soutache-braided trim and a discreet zipper, with a button loop closure offering customizable options. Gown Sizing: Vintage gowns tend to run small, but at Little Rose Bridal we can tailor them to fit today's modern bride! Most gowns can be altered up to four sizes, or we can fully reconstruct the gown for a complete transformation.
Bodice Closure Options: Because our vintage gowns are carefully restored by immersion cleaning, this requires the removal of original buttons to prevent metal oxidation on the fabric, giving brides the opportunity to customize their back closure. If the original buttons can be saved, we’ll restore them. Otherwise, choose from silk bridal buttons, freshwater pearl buttons, crystal buttons, embroidered buttons, a mesh zipper, or a corset insert to finish off your unique dream wedding gown.
